Bobby Deol’s Role in YRF’s Upcoming Film Alpha
Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) upcoming film Alpha has created major buzz, especially because Bobby Deol will be playing the antagonist. This was hinted at in the War 2 post-credit scene, where Bobby Deol is shown tattooing a mysterious agency logo (with “Alpha” written on it) on a young girl’s hand. He also tells her something significant — and that girl is most likely Alia Bhatt’s character.
From this scene, it becomes clear that Bobby Deol’s character trains Alia Bhatt’s character in Alpha — but later turns against her. In other words, he transforms from being her mentor to becoming her biggest enemy.
Bobby Deol, who recently received immense praise for his powerful negative role in Animal, is once again set to impress audiences with his intense antagonist performance in Alpha.

On July 5, 2024, YRF released a short promo video officially announcing the title Alpha. The video features Alia Bhatt’s voice, declaring the dawn of a new chapter in the Spy Universe.

Alpha is scheduled to release on 25 December 2025, clashing directly with Kartik Aaryan – Sreeleela’s untitled film. This Christmas clash is expected to be one of the biggest box office battles of 2025.
