Once again, Amitabh Bachchan is returning to rule the hearts of millions with his legendary presence, bringing the new season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) on Sony LIV. In this show, participants play using their intelligence, answering questions to win increasing amounts of money — the more correct answers they give, the higher the prize money they earn.
The show is hosted by none other than Amitabh Bachchan, known as the “Shahenshah of Bollywood.” He was born on October 11, 1942, in Allahabad (now Prayagraj), Uttar Pradesh. His father was the renowned poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
Amitabh Bachchan made his film debut with Saat Hindustani (1969) and rose to fame with Zanjeer (1973). His iconic films include Sholay, Deewaar, Don, Piku, Paa, Pink, and Black.
He made his television debut with Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) in the year 2000, and ever since, his voice and hosting style have captured the hearts of audiences. The show quickly became one of India’s most beloved game shows and is now completing 25 years on television.
