What Happened?
Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi’s cousin brother, Asif Qureshi, was brutally murdered in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area following a dispute over parking. This shocking incident occurred on Thursday night around 10:30 PM, when Asif got into an argument with his neighbors about parking a two-wheeler in front of the gate.
he situation escalated quickly, and two young men attacked him with a sharp weapon, resulting in his death on the spot. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
Arrests and Investigation
The police promptly arrested both accused—19-year-old Ujjwal and 18-year-old Gautam, who are neighbors of the deceased. The murder weapon has also been recovered. A case has been registered under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the Indian Penal Code, and the investigation is underway.
Family’s Grief
Asif’s wife, Sainaz Qureshi, revealed that they had earlier arguments with these neighbors over parking issues. She painfully expressed:
“Such a big tragedy happened over something as small as moving a scooter. A life was lost. It’s heartbreaking.”
