Mehak and Pari (as Nisha) are two girls who are sisters. They come from a village in Shahbazpur, located in the Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh. The police arrested them because they were creating obscene and abusive reels on Instagram. The entire village was troubled by their behavior. These two sisters were regularly posting vulgar and abusive videos on social media, especially Instagram. Due to their actions, many people from their village got fed up and filed a complaint against them at the police station Shahbazpur, located in the Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh.
Why did Mehak Pari do this? What was the reason behind such behavior?
According to reports, when the two sisters started making reels on Instagram, they were not getting enough views. So, to attract attention, they began uploading obscene and abusive content. These vulgar videos started gaining thousands of views, and their followers began to increase rapidly. They even started earning some money from Instagram through this content. As a result, they kept posting such videos regularly.
Police Action and Arrest
But their behavior disturbed the villagers so much that a complaint was filed against them. Based on the complaint, the police took both sisters into custody. Their Instagram account is still active and has not yet been removed. Many of their obscene and abusive videos are still visible. Their account has around 5,lakh followers, and their Instagram handle is @mehakpari143.
It is also reported that their cameraman and other team members were arrested as well. Mehak and Pari (also known as Nisha), along with two of their team members — Hina and Jarrar Alam — were named in the case. They were arrested late Monday night after the complaint was filed earlier that day, according to multiple reports.
