This dates back to the time when Mrunal Thakur was working in TV serials. Kumkum Bhagya was a popular TV show where Mrunal played the role of Bulbul, and opposite her was Purab, whose real name is Arjit Taneja. During a light-hearted chat on television about Kumkum Bhagya, Arjit was teasing Mrunal.

In the viral clip, mrunal thakur can be seen speaking to her Kumkum Bhagya co-star Arjit Taneja about fitness. When Arjit playfully dared Mrunal to do a headstand, she jokingly claimed that he could sit while she balanced on her head. He also challenged her to do push-ups, to which she compared herself to Bipasha and asked if he preferred to marry a muscular woman. She remarked:

“Do you want to marry a girl who is manly with muscles? Go marry Bipasha.”
Further, she added:
“Listen, I am far better than Bipasha.”

Now, this old video clip has resurfaced and gone viral, eventually reaching Bipasha Basu.

Bipasha posted an Instagram Story saying:

“Strong women lift each other up.”
Addressing the “muscles” comment, she added:
“Get those muscles beautiful ladies, we should be strong. Muscles help you attain good physical and mental health forever! Bust the age-old thought process that women should not look strong or be physically strong. #loveyourself”

On social media, fans criticised Mrunal’s comment. Many pointed out that Bipasha is an iconic actress who has delivered hit songs and movies. Some fans, however, defended Mrunal, saying it was just a joke and not meant to be taken seriously. Regardless, this clip of Mrunal and Bipasha is going massively viral on social media.
